The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.P. Millar, rider of Sainte Baol (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C.P. Millar was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and 10.3(i)(time to respond). Having considered his record in this regard (third offence under Regulation 10), they suspended him for twenty racedays
C. Owens, rider of Ballycommon Chapel, trained by R.Donohoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout and jumped left.
