Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Camakasi (IRE) had refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
The Starter reported that Camakasi (IRE) had refused to race.
Tom Marquand and Ali Stronge's representative were interviewed and shown recordings of the start.
The trainer was informed that any future similar behaviour from the gelding may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final furlong when the winner, Loving Your Work (GB), ridden by Kieran O'Neill, drifted left-handed, away from whip, causing Murhib (IRE), placed third, ridden by John Egan, to have to take a check, which in turn caused Simbirsk (GB), placed eighth, ridden by Kieran Shoemark, to have to take a slight check.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Loving Your Work (GB)'s placing as the winner was going away at the line and the distance between the winner and the third was half a length.
O'Neill was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his horse to drift left without sufficient and timely correction.
Following the race Rossa Ryan reported that Taurean Dancer (IRE), unplaced, had stopped quickly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Taurean Dancer (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
