An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong out involving the winner, Plastic Paddy (GB), ridden by Frederick Larson, and THEY DON’T KNOW (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Jason Watson.
Larson was cautioned for careless riding for switching his mount right-handed when insufficiently clear causing Watson to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, Alistair Rawlinson reported that Le Reveur (IRE), placed sixth, was slowly away and hung left-handed in the straight, and P J McDonald reported that Adelita (IRE), placed fifth, stumbled leaving the stalls.
