Moon makes impressive start over fences
Ever since she first jumped a fence at home she has been rapid over them and Robert thinks she will be nice when the ground dries up more and we go 2m4f with her. We'll have a chat and see where we go with her but she hasn't got black-type yet so that will definitely be on the agenda.

Chalky edges thriller to land gamble
It was great and it was the first time Keith rode for me. Ken Whelan (his agent) put him in for me. He is improving with every run, we know the family well as he is related to Tikkanen Express who we had. We were hopeful of a big run today but it was his first handicap which was our only worry. I felt he was improving with age and with runs. He is still immature and was idling when he hit the front. We'll go for something similar and the syndicate deserved a bit of luck, they are in the yard a long time and thankfully this fellow has worked out for them. One of the lads is from Kilkenny and the rest are from west Cork.

Ambition left to come home well clear
It wasn't the plan to make it but there was no one there to make it. She jumps and she stays,. To be honest I thought the handicapper had a grip of her but it was a small field and she got away. I'd be hoping the handicapper doesn't crucify her now. She is slow but is a light framed mare and I wouldn't rule out running her during the summer.
Murphy finds key to Cannon
We were disappointed with him the in Leopardstown but we got the key to him and got him to switch off. The plan was to set out last and get him to switch off and come home as late as he can and it is job done. I think he is a nice horse and has a great page and I'd say he'll make a nice dual-purpose horse and I wouldn't see why he wouldn't run on the flat. I don't know how good today's race was and he'll hurdle during the summer if the owner doesn't sell him. Evan Dwan rides out with us every morning, he was with Pat Doyle and is a good chap. He is going to America at the end of the month but whether that'll change his mind or not I don't know.
