The Stewards considered two incidents of interference inside the final furlong involving both horses that dead-heated for first place: Power Of States (IRE), ridden by James Doyle and Arij (IRE), ridden by Silvestre De Sousa.
In the first incident, Arij (IRE) shifted slightly right carrying Power Of States (IRE) off its intended line.
In the second incident, Power Of States (IRE) edged slightly left off its intended line, nudging Arij (IRE).
After considering both incidents cumulatively, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of either horse.
