Kevin Philippart de Foy was fined £140 for doubly declaring Oasis Sunrise (IRE) to run in THE DRAGONBET - REAL BOOKMAKERS NURSERY HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 5) at Bath and THE BETFAIR RESTRICTED MAIDEN STAKES (CLASS 5) (for horses in Band D) (DIV II) (GBB RACE) at Chelmsford, and the filly ran in the latter.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line when the winner, Premier (FR), ridden by Finley Marsh, interfered with Tap Dancer (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Trevor Whelan.
Charles Bishop, the rider of Mister Knockout (GB), placed fourth, was also interviewed but deemed not to be involved.
Marsh was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed away from the whip without sufficient correction causing Whelan to take a check for several strides.
