The raceday privilege request, to go early to post, in relation to Seven Brothers (IRE), trained by Scott Dixon, was late being submitted.
As this was his fourth breach within the previous 12 months, Dixon was fined £80.
Leaving the stalls, Shark Two One (GB), placed third, jumped right-handed at the same time as Ibiza Love (IRE), placed fifth, jumped left-handed resulting in Roundhay Park (GB), placed second, being hampered and Seven Brothers (IRE), unplaced, being inconvenienced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Shark Two One (GB) or Ibiza Love (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong involving Ascot Adventure (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Jason Watson and Roundhay Park (GB), placed second, ridden by Alex Jary.
The interference was found to be accidental as Ascot Adventure (GB) had shifted quickly right- handed away from the whip into the path of Roundhay Park (GB) which was staying on and caused Jary to be caught on heels for a number of strides.
Following the race; Jason Watson reported that Ascot Adventure (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed and Alex Jary reported that Roundhay Park (GB), placed second, was denied a clear run approaching the final furlong.
