Permission was given for Indian Tygress (GB) to wear a hood in the parade ring only, to be mounted in the chute and to be led to post early and for Rose Berry (GB) to go to post early.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Sonnet Rose (IRE), unplaced, lost its right hind shoe.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 1 ½ furlongs out when Sonnet Rose (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Martin Dwyer, interfered with Indian Tygress (GB), placed third, ridden by George Wood, which in turn interfered with Sweet And Dandy (IRE), placed second, ridden by Kieran O’Neill.
Dwyer was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed, shifting O’Neill slightly off his intended line, causing Wood to have to take a check.
Approaching 1 ½ furlongs out Chica De La Noche (GB), unplaced, ridden by Luke Morris shifted slightly left- handed onto Sweet And Dandy (IRE), placed second, causing O’Neill to have to take a check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
