On the run to the line, Last Date (GB), placed third, shifted left at the same time as Voltaic (GB), placed fourth, shifted marginally right leaving Good Humor (GB), placed fifth, short for room but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing’s of Last Date (GB) and Voltaic (GB).
Following the race, Pat Dobbs the rider of Brunel Charm (GB), placed second; and George Downing the rider of VOTAIC, placed fourth, both reported their mounts hung right-handed in the straight and Daniel Muscutt reported that Good Humor (GB), placed fifth, hung right-handed from half way.
