An enquiry was held to consider interference passing the 1 furlong marker, involving Corpus Juris (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Andrew Mullen, Patrol (IRE), placed third, ridden by Cieren Fallon, and Studious (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Luke Morris.
The interference was found to be accidental as when Mullen pulled his whip through to his right hand in order to correct Corpus Juris (IRE) from drifting right, it resulted in Patrol (IRE) shying quickly right-handed away from his whip and into the path of Studious (IRE), which was badly hampered when tightened for racing room.
