Permission was given for Berkshire Nugget (IRE), Glam Squad (IRE), and Royal Velvet (GB) to wear red hoods to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Nakasero (IRE), placed third, ridden by Ben Coen; Never Fear (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Andrew Mullen; Berkshire Nugget (IRE), unplaced, ridden by David Probert and Sennockian (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Paul Mulrennan.
Coen was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he moved left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Never Fear (IRE), crowding Mullen for room and causing him to take a check, which resulted in Probert taking a significant check on Berkshire Nugget (IRE) and in turn making contact with the hindquarters of Sennockian (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend when Nakasero (IRE), placed third, ridden by Ben Coen interfered with Escape Act (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Pat Cosgrave.
Coen was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed when insufficiently clear of a free- running Escape Act (IRE), causing Cosgrave to briefly check his mount.
Entering the first bend, Never Fear (IRE), unplaced, cornered awkwardly and lugged right-handed at the same time as Devious Devan (IRE), unplaced, edged left-handed resulting in the rider of Candonomore (FR), unplaced, having to take a check when short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the 2 furlong marker when the winner, Glam Squad (IRE), ridden by Neil Callan interfered with Star Jasmine (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Billy Loughnane.
The interference was found to be accidental as Glam Squad (IRE) had moved off the rail approaching the home bend creating a tight gap to its inside, where Star Jasmine (IRE) was ultimately disappointed for clear running after Loughnane had attempted to improve his position down the inner, before Glam Squad (IRE) edged marginally left-handed and closed that gap.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Berkshire Nugget (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference shortly after the start.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Escape Act (IRE), placed fourth, lost its left-fore shoe.
