She jumped great and travelled well. I winged the third last and second last to put the race to bed nicely. She’s done it easy enough and in plenty of time for Galway if they want to go there. She ran over 2m6f there last year when she was a bit keen. She’s a year older now and will probably get that trip. She’s straight forward and you can do anything you want with her. I broke my collarbone at Punchestown for the third time, and got back riding two weeks ago.

We weren’t expecting that although having said that he always works well and runs well when he is fresh. We’ll give him a break now for a couple of weeks and find something for him.

It was deserved. He was a bit unlucky the last day as he was green and backward. I’ve had three seconds in the last ten days so I’m delighted to get a winner. He’s a nice type of horse and will jump a fence in time.

I had to run the two of them under a penalty as they were going up so much. It was a game performance as I thought he was going to be beaten and he had to dig deep. It’s going to be hard for both of them after this but they were both cheap horses out of the August Sale last year, and hopefully they might win again somewhere.

We’ve actually had him a while but he’s been a bit of a slow burner. They have done a good job watering here but he definitely wouldn’t like it any quicker. I’m surprised by that and he’ll be a nice horse going forward for the future. The further he goes the better I’d say, and he might even make into a winter horse. I wouldn’t be afraid of slower ground as he has a fair knee action.

She goes on that ground, and hadn’t run for a while before the last day in Wexford where she was a bit too keen. Niall and Aine were away on holidays last week and got engaged so it’s great to win here. She is for sale and may go back hurdling.
