The Stewards enquired into an incident approaching the second last hurdle involving Little Light (FR), ridden by R.P. Treacy, placed second and Visioman (FR), ridden by S.W. Flanagan, placed first, where it appeared Little light (FR) met with interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations offered.

A novice hurdle race for four yrs old and upwards which at entry are rated 113 or less over hurdles, also open to horses rated 114-125
Weights - 4-y-o 10st 6lb; 5-y-o and up 11st;
Penalties - Performances before 9th May for every 1lb above the rating of 113 1lb extra; On or after 9th May for each hurdle race won 4lb extra; Note -. Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 125 or less.
