The Starter reported that Cosmos Raj (GB) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 3:26pm.
David O’Meara was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The winner Society Red (GB) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ripon on 15 May 2022, where the gelding finished eighth of eight beaten 27¼ lengths.
The representative of Richard Fahey could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form.
Society Red (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, David Allan reported that Bollin Joan (GB), which started favourite and finished fourth, ran flat.
