Approximately 1 furlong out, the rider of Benadalid (GB), placed sixth, had to take off the heels of the quickly weakening Society Red (GB), unplaced, and when shifting right, gave a slight bump to Wait For The Lord (GB), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Benadalid (GB).
Following the race, Dougie Costello reported that Wait For The Lord (GB) ran too freely.
