An enquiry was held to consider interference involving the winner, Aylesford (IRE), ridden by Shane Kelly, Farhh To Shy (GB), unplaced, ridden by Tom Queally, and Pagan (IRE), placed second, ridden by Cieren Fallon.
The interference was found to be accidental as Fallon’s horse had drifted left-handed despite his best efforts, causing Aylesford (IRE), which had been switched in behind and was going for a tight but legitimate gap, to be shifted off its intended line and make contact with Farhh To Shy (GB) causing the filly to be moved marginally off her intended line.
