An enquiry was held to consider the placings following an objection from Miss Harriet Tucker, the rider of Bayston Hill (GB), placed second, to the winner, Ruby Red Empress (IRE), ridden by Mr Matthew Ennis, on the grounds of being taken off her intended line inside the final furlong.
The riders were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident after which it was found that no interference had taken place.
Following the race, Miss Sarah Bowen reported that Beau Geste (IRE), placed sixth, ran in snatches and Mr Matthew Ennis reported that his saddle on the winner, Ruby Red Empress (IRE), slipped.
