An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside the 5 furlong marker when Gweedore (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Ben Curtis interfered with the winner Perregrin (GB), ridden by Jason Hart.
Curtis was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to shift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Perregrin (GB) causing the gelding to be briefly checked.
Lewis Edmunds, the rider of Speed Dating (FR), placed second, was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from approaching 2 ¼ furlongs out.
Following the race, Harrison Shaw reported that Dancing Leopard (IRE), placed third, was never travelling.
