Sean Levey, the rider of Tinto (GB), drawn 5, was slow to remove the blindfold.
Levey explained that the gelding threw its head up when he went to remove the blind, necessitating a second attempt to remove it.
His explanation was noted.
Oisin Murphy, the rider of Able Kane (GB), placed second, was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level inside the final two furlongs.
