The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Oh So Charming (GB), trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a small wound on his left fore shin but to be otherwise post race normal

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.C. Gainford, rider of Paul Collins, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race where it appeared he used his whip down the shoulder in the forehand position. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. J.C. Gainford stated he felt out of control and felt if he hadn't used his whip he would have went through the rail. He further added that his mount was responding to every strike which he felt was necessary. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the riders explanation

J.C. Gainford, rider of Paul Collins, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right from the turn in all the way home.
