The sponsorship in relation to Peroni (GB), trained by Gay Kelleway and JAQUELINA (IRE), trained by Phil McEntee did not comply with the Sponsorship Code of Conduct.
Both trainers were warned as to their responsibility to ensure that the correct sponsorship is carried.
The Starter reported that Moment De Reve (GB) was unruly in the stalls and was withdrawn at 2:15pm.
Andrew Balding was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the last half furlong when Shamilla (GB), unplaced, ridden by Marco Ghiani interfered with On Reflection (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Neil Callan.
Ghiani was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed approaching half a furlong out without correction causing Callan to take a check.
An enquiry was held into the running and riding of Ramdon Rocks (GB), ridden by Benoit De La Sayette and trained by Ismail Mohammed, who finished fourth beaten 5 ¼ lengths under apparent tender handling in the home straight.
The rider was interviewed and shown recordings of the race and the trainer, who was not on course, was interviewed by telephone.
The Veterinary Officer reported no abnormalities were found after a post-race examination.
The rider stated that his instructions were to ride his mount positively and get a good position and ride the race accordingly.
These instructions were confirmed by the trainer.
The rider stated that his mount had hung on the home bend and that he felt it shorten its stride in the home straight and that RANDOM ROCKS had been intimidated inside the final furlong by Shamilla (GB) who was shifting ground.
The Stewards noted that De La Sayette had made no report to officials post-race.
De La Sayette was suspended for 14 days for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures throughout the race in that he failed to ask for neither real or substantial effort in the home straight.
Following the race, Daniel Muscutt the rider of Bill Plumb (IRE), placed third, and Cameron Noble the rider of Mimoset (GB), unplaced, both reported their mounts ran green and Molly Presland reported that JAQUELINA (IRE), unplaced, was fractious in the stalls.
