Gina Mangan reported that Pastfact (GB), unplaced, stopped quickly; Malcolm Saunders further reported that Pastfact (GB) was unsuited by going which was Good to Firm, Firm in places, and the gelding would prefer more ease in the ground.
Rossa Ryan reported that Grey Galleon (USA), placed fifth, was never travelling; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
