He is going the right way and did what we expected. He is a Mayson but I think he wants good ground and hopefully he goes on. The Stewards enquired into an incident in the early stages of this race involving Kurpany (FR), ridden by B.M
Coen, placed first, Principalship (GB), ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed second and Hot Dakota, ridden by C.P
Hoban, unplaced, where it appeared Principalship (GB) manoeuvered left causing interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned in the presence of Mr. K. Whelan, who accompanied B.M. Coen. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental and took no further action
The Stewards received a report from Miss Colleen Murphy, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that S. Foley, rider of Dragon Ryker (GB), had weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight

Foley was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
