An enquiry was held to consider interference after jumping the second fence down the side of the course involving the winner Arclight (GB), ridden by Nico de Boinville, Rakhine State (IRE), which was pulled up, ridden by Kielan Woods, Fame And Fun (IRE), which was also pulled up, ridden by Harry Cobden and Notnowlinda (IRE), placed second, ridden by Harry Skelton.
The interference was found to be accidental as Arclight (GB) jumped the fence well and clear of the field at the same time that Rakhine State (IRE), jumped it slowly, forcing Skelton to switch right-handed improving his position up the inside.
Fame And Fun (IRE) also jumped the fence well, improving his position on the outside of Rakhine State (IRE), with de Boinville, having held his line and the running rail coming out, caused all three runners on his inside to be tightened for racing room.
Following the race, Kielan Woods reported that Rakhine State (IRE), which was pulled up, made a bad mistake at the second fence down the side of the course and was hampered.
Harry Cobden reported that Fame And Fun (IRE), which was pulled up, jumped poorly and hung right-handed.
