Jumping the first fence Matata (IRE), placed second, jumped violently left-handed making contact with Djelo (FR) causing the gelding to fall, as a result hampering Master Chewy (IRE), placed fourth.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and had not improved the placing of Matata (IRE).
Following the race, Daryl Jacob reported that Matata (IRE), placed second, jumped left-handed.
