An enquiry was held to consider interference at the end of the back straight on the final circuit involving Supremely West (IRE), placed second, ridden by Charlie Hammond and the winner, Bugise Seagull (IRE), ridden by Sean Bowen.
The interference was found to be accidental as a free running Supremely West (IRE) had improved very quickly through along the rail to the inside of Bugise Seagull (IRE), which itself had changed leads going into the bend and lugged left-handed, causing Hammond to take a slight check.
Following the race, Charlie Hammond reported that Supremely West (IRE), placed second, hung left- handed and Harry Cobden reported that Just In A Bit (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed.
