The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Angel's Trumpet, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

The Stewards requested a report from Eoin Doyle, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Bardo Contiguo, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Michael Moran, authorised representative for the trainer stated that his charge got a bad bump at Listowel on the 24th of September and did not travel thereafter and was eased. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.
