The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race the first instance involving Milestone, ridden by Mr. B.M. Lenihan, placed fifth, Attribution (GB), ridden by Ms N. Carberry, placed third and Uncle Danny, ridden by G.N. Fox, winner and the second instance involving Noble King, ridden by J. Brennan, placed fourth and Milestone, ridden by Mr. B.M. Lenihan, placed fifth, where it appeared interference had taken place in both instances. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. However they found G.N. Fox in breach of Rule 214 by having ridden carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for two race days. The Stewards further found J. Brennan in breach of Rule 214 by having ridden carelessly and having taken his record into account suspended him for two race days.
An I.N.H. flat race for four, five, six and seven yrs old only that have NOT RUN in a *race Weights - 4-y-o 11st 6lb; 5, 6 and 7-y-o 12st; Mares allowed 7lb Riders - Qualified under I.N.H.S. Rules. Professional under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (iii) (up to and including 30th April) may also ride in this race.
