An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the second-last hurdle involving Botox Has (FR), placed fourth, ridden by Joshua Moore; Thyme White (FR), which later unseated its rider, ridden by Harry Cobden; Milkwood (IRE), placed third, ridden by Robert Dunne and Marie's Rock (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Nico de Boinville.
Dunne however was unable to be interviewed as he had left the course and was uncontactable by telephone.
The interference was found to be accidental as in a tightly packed field Botox Has (FR) had shifted quickly left-handed, carrying Thyme White (FR) onto Milkwood (IRE), which resulted in de Boinville having to steady Marie's Rock (IRE) in order to maintain his racing line and jump the hurdle.
Marie's Rock (IRE) had then jumped right at the hurdle and Botox Has (FR) and Thyme White (FR) had made contact on landing, resulting in Cobden becoming unbalanced and unseated.
It was noted that the riders of Pisgah Pike (IRE), placed fifth, and Millers Bank (GB), unplaced, subsequently had to take evasive action in order to avoid Cobden who had been unseated.
