RACE (CLASS 1) (Grade 2) (NHMOPS Bonus Race) An enquiry was held to consider interference after the last flight when the winner Lady Buttons (GB) ridden by Sean Quinlan interfered with Floressa (FR), placed third, ridden by James Bowen, Irish Roe (IRE), placed second, ridden by Henry Brooke, and Timetochill (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies.
Quinlan was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear causing Floressa (FR) to be heavily checked and carried onto Irish Roe (IRE), which in turn was tightened for room and bumped with Timetochill (IRE).
