He's a brilliant jumper and on his chase rating he was entitled to win,. He ran too free in Roscommon last Monday and blew up so we decided to drop in today. His main target is the Kerry National but whether we still have anything up our sleeves off a rating of 141 remains to be seen but it's the obvious target. It was grand to pick up something like this in the meantime.

I'm delighted to get him back. He showed a bit of promise two years ago, but then he had leg trouble. He had a nice comeback run over hurdles in Sligo. Fortunately this was the plan. Mr Potts loves this meeting nearly above Cheltenham and he loves to have winners here. I think he'll go on any ground bar heavy. We'll maybe look at handicaps for him. Two and a half might be what he needs or a fast run two miles.

His chase form has been very solid. He got messed around a bit the other day in Galway and it didn't work out for him. That wasn't his true run and that proved it.

Flight Plan navigates Killarney well

It's great to win a bumper with him. I bought him as a yearling at Goffs. He was too one-paced on the flat so I kept persevering with him until it was time to run in bumpers. He'll go hurdling and he'll go on heavy ground. He was second in Punchestown and ran on heavy ground in a hurdle at Naas so he's fine for the winter.

Digeanta opens up plenty of doors

He's very tough. That's why I wanted to make it a test of stamina. He stays particularly well. He beat Marchese Marconi last year over and a mile and six [at this track in July 2013] so I thought two miles one was in our favour. The better class staying handicaps on the flat are well within his range, something like the Cesarewitch. He's still unexposed over hurdles.
