An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference just inside the final half a furlong, involving Times Past (IRE), placed second, ridden by Thomas Greatrex, and Lady Cosette (FR), placed third, ridden by Shane Kelly.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Times Past (IRE)’s placing as Lady Cosette (FR) lost no momentum as a result of the interference and Times Past (IRE) was always holding Lady Cosette (FR), with a nose between the runners at the line.
The interference was found to be accidental as Times Past (IRE) edged marginally left briefly intimidating Lady Cosette (FR).
