The Veterinary Officer reported that upon inspection Shadow's (GB) was grey and not bay as published in the racecard.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run in involving the winner, Baskerville (IRE), ridden by Tom Bellamy and Near Dark (IRE), placed third, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies.
Bellamy was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift left-handed under a right- handed drive for some distance, without timely correction, causing Near Dark (IRE), which had already been hanging left-handed independently to be moved further left inside the racing line and ultimately forced Twiston-Davies to take a check and lose his running to the inside of Baskerville (IRE).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Fiftyfifty (IRE), unplaced, lost a right-fore shoe.
