David Evans was informed that the colt could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after leaving the stalls involving Raahy (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Seamus Cronin, Hot Heels (GB), placed third, ridden by Richard Kingscote and Ainsdale (GB), placed second, ridden by Andrew Mullen.
Cronin was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had manoeuvered his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear of Hot Heels (GB), pushing it off its intended line causing it to interfere with Ainsdale (GB) on his inside.
Following the race, Seamus Cronin reported that Raahy (GB), placed fifth, ran too free.
