An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 3½ furlongs out involving the winner, Dr Simpson (FR), ridden by Richard Kingscote and Elpheba (IRE), placed third, ridden by Trevor Whelan.
The interference was found to be accidental as Dr Simpson (FR) shifted left momentarily whilst racing greenly before being quickly corrected, causing Elpheba (IRE) to be checked and lose its running on the rail.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Enjoy The Moment (GB), placed second, was slowly away.
