Laoch Gach La (GB) ran yesterday, 11 February 2023 at Chelmsford, finishing fourth of eight runners, beaten by 4 ½ lengths.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Officer, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving Peruvian Summer (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Mr Adam O’Shea, Inclement Weather (GB), placed third, ridden by Miss Poppy Scott, Ebury (GB), unplaced, ridden by Mr Frederick Tett and Otto Oyl (GB), unplaced, ridden by Miss Brodie Hampson.
Miss Hampson was suspended for 6 days for careless riding as she allowed her mount to shift left-handed from a wide draw, carrying Ebury (GB) off its intended line, across the running of Inclement Weather (GB) which resulted in both Miss Scott and Mr O’Shea to take significant checks aboard their mounts.
Following the race, Brodie Hampson reported that Otto Oyl (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed throughout.
