The Starter reported that Anniemation (IRE) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Stella Barclay was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Anniemation (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
Sam James, the rider of Anniemation (IRE), was slow to remove the blindfold.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, James' explanation that he missed the blind on the first occasion and it had taken two attempts to remove was noted.
Following the race, Ben Robinson reported that Pallas Dancer (GB), placed sixth, was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Ammayya (GB), placed eighth, had bled from the nose.
