Permission was given for Sherpa Trail (USA) to be mounted on the chute and be led early to post.
Cieren Fallon, the rider of Mindurownbusiness (IRE), fell 2 ½ furlongs out and Eoin Walsh, the rider of Rocky Sea (IRE), was unseated shortly after.
Walsh was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, but Fallon was unable to be interviewed owing to his injuries.
It was found that the incident was accidental and caused by MINDUROWNBUSNIESS (IRE) sustaining an injury and falling causing Rocky Sea (IRE) to become badly hampered and unseat Walsh.
An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the final bend when Day Trader (IRE), placed second, ridden by Thore Hammer Hansen, interfered with Stopdworldnletmeof (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Joey Haynes.
Hansen was suspended for 5 days for careless riding as he maneuvered right around Sherpa Trail (USA) carrying Haynes off his intended line and causing him to have to take a considerable check off the heels of Mandm (GB).
Following the race, Thore Hammer Hansen reported that Day Trader (IRE), placed second, jumped awkwardly from the stalls.
