An enquiry was held to consider interference in the final ½ furlong when Bobby Shaft (GB), placed second, ridden by Paul Hanagan, interfered with ATALANTA’S BOY, placed fourth, ridden by Pierre-Louis Jamin.
Hanagan was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left without sufficient correction, causing slight interference to ATALANTA’S BOY.
Being a 7lb claimer, Jamin was offered accompaniment in the enquiry, but declined.
Approaching the line, Mina Velour (GB), placed third, hung left taking Jet Set Go (GB), unplaced, marginally off its intended line but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Mina Velour (GB).
