An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the final bend where Geordie Des Champs (IRE), placed third, ridden by James Bowen, stumbled when weakening between the winner, Mr Yeats (IRE), ridden by Bradley Harris and Umbrigado (IRE), placed second, ridden by Tom Scudamore.
The interference was found to be accidental as it was not possible to apportion blame to any rider involved.
Following the race, Harry Kimber reported that his saddle slipped on Valentino (GB), which subsequently led Kimber to become unseated.
