An enquiry was held to consider interference on the top bend on the first circuit involving The Old Bull (GB), which was pulled up, ridden by Beau Morgan, the winner, Westerninthepark (IRE), ridden by Bradley Harris, FOOTY’S BRIDGE (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Harry Kimber, Madam Ryder (GB), placed second, ridden by Paul O’Brien, Stop This Train (IRE), unplaced, ridden by James Best, and Mountain Bay (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Michael Nolan.
After interviewing all of the riders involved and viewing recordings of the incident, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the bottom bend on the first circuit when The Old Bull (GB), which was pulled up, ridden by Beau Morgan, interfered with the winner, Westerninthepark (IRE), ridden by Bradley Harris, who in turn interfered with FOOTY’S BRIDGE (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Harry Kimber.
Morgan was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed when insufficiently clear of Westerninthepark (IRE) causing Harris to take a slight check.
