Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Candy Lou (GB) had refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
The Starter reported that Candy Lou (GB) had refused to race.
As the filly had also refused to race at Huntingdon on 24th March 2022, Joanne Thomason-Murphy was informed that any future similar behaviour from Candy Lou (GB) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
Following the race Richard Patrick reported that Fenney Brook (GB), which was pulled up, jumped without any fluency.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly, during routine testing, revealed that Fenney Brook (GB) had lost a left-fore shoe.
