An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside 2 furlongs out when, the winner, Hawridge Storm (IRE), ridden by Oisin Murphy, interfered with Bronze River (GB), placed eighth, ridden by Ray Dawson.
Murphy was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed when insufficiently clear causing Dawson to have to take a slight check.
Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that the winner, Hawridge Storm (IRE), was slow into stride and hung right-handed, Ray Dawson reported that Bronze River (GB), placed eighth, ran too free and hung left-handed on the bend and Sean Levey reported that Pactolus (IRE), placed third, hung left-handed.
