Leaving the stalls, City Saint (GB), unplaced, jumped right-handed, impeding Miss Bielsa (GB), placed third, which had already been slowly into stride having jumped awkwardly, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching two furlongs out, involving Loving Look (GB), placed second, ridden by Callum Shepherd and the winner Silent Glance (GB), ridden by Hector Crouch.
The interference was deemed to be accidental as a free running Loving Look (GB), travelled forward strongly around the heels of a rapidly weakening Artificer (IRE), unplaced, and moved Silent Glance (GB) slightly wider off its intended line, before Crouch rode competitively when attempting to hold his position, which resulted in Loving Look (GB) and Silent Glance (GB) bumping on several occasions.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Loving Look (GB), placed second, ran too free.
