The trainer, the trainer’s representative, the Declarations Clerk, the Clerk of the Scales, the Veterinary Officer and two Equine Welfare and Integrity Officers were interviewed.
Having heard their evidence, a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
Alan Berry was fined £140 as the record of vaccinations in the passport of Yorkshire Rover (GB) did not comply with the Rules of Racing and as the gelding had not received a full course of vaccinations, the Stewards ordered Yorkshire Rover (GB) to be withdrawn.
Following the race, Toby Eley reported that Alqaab (GB), placed seventh, was never travelling.
