Glance Back (GB), placed third, jumped markedly left at the fourth last fence, inconveniencing Quantum Of Solace (GB), placed fourth, which in turn caused Snow Rescue (IRE), placed second, to become unbalanced when hampered but after a viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Glance Back (GB).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Gris De Pron (FR), placed seventh, had bled from the nose, and further reported that Thomas Blossom (IRE), placed sixth, lost its right fore shoe.
