It was noted that Go All The Way (GB), placed third, stumbled shortly after the winning post on the final circuit.
The winner, Richidish (FR), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Wincanton on 2 March 2022, where the gelding was pulled up.
Gary Moore’s representative explained that Richidish (FR) benefitted from the first-time application of blinkers on this occasion; his explanation was noted.
Following the race, Harry Bannister reported that Caro Des Flos (FR), which was pulled up, lost its action and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination revealed the gelding had a small wound on its left hind.
