Tristan Price, the rider of Pioneering (IRE), placed third, had appeared to use his whip contrary to the Conditions of the race.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Price was suspended for 7 days for improper riding.
Being a 7lb claimer, Price was accompanied by the Jockey Coach.
The winner, Motahassen (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Redcar on 27 May 2019 where the gelding finished eleventh of fourteen, beaten by 24? lengths on Good to Firm ground.
Declan Carroll's explanation that Motahassen (IRE) had appreciated the slower ground, which was officially described as Heavy on this occasion, was noted.
Motahassen (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Robert Dodsworth reported that Ghayyar (IRE), unplaced, ran too freely and was unable to get cover from a wide draw.
Nikki Evans reported that Maroc (GB), placed sixth, was unsuited by the ground, which was officially described as Heavy on this occasion, and would prefer a faster surface.
