The Starter reported that Duck Egg Blue (IRE) had refused to race.
Liam Bailey and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the start.
As the mare had also refused to race at Haydock on 22 June 2019 and at Redcar on 6 October 2018, Duck Egg Blue’s behaviour was referred to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
Having reviewed recordings of the start, the Stewards were satisfied that Duck Egg Blue (IRE) had refused to race after the start had been effected, and was therefore deemed to be a runner.
