An Agreement that has punters smiling
I'm absolutely delighted. We were a little bit worried about the ground and he got the trip well which was probably important today. I was worried about his fitness too. He had a break and is not long back. He had a big hold-up after Tipperary and on that ground I was just a bit afraid. Joseph said he stays well and that he should step-up a good bit. He's a good moving horse and we might put him in a handicap and see what mark he gets.
Bill has some smiling but not all
We haven't had many runners and the ground wouldn't have been suitable. It didn't suit this fella either and he got some ride. I'm delighted for a few different reasons. I sold him to a few fellas last spring before Punchestown and he ran badly after which they rang to say they weren't taking him. They didn't pay and I hope they're sore now; they know who they are! . Philip and his brother 'Abbie' (sons of former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds) bought him before he ran at the Curragh. I've never met Philip and we've only chatted on the phone so I'm delighted for him. He's a summer horse and he barely got away with the ground. He never travelled and Fran coaxed him into it. He's in again on Sunday (the Trappers Inn Maiden Hurdle) and we'll see how he is.
Unaccompanied in a real gritty show
She's a good game mare. She's a smashing hurdle mare as well. Pat had to be at his very best which he was. A horse of ours, Address Unknown, that went on to be a good horse in England this year (won the Chester Cup), struggled to beat Fleur De Nuit here two years back so we knew she was very good. The ground is extremely gluey and it's a long way up the hill. Pat blamed himself for getting beaten on Show Court (3rd in the previous race) but I didn't agree. Anyway Unaccompanied will go for more Listed and Group 3 events. She has the option of going back hurdling later.

He's a smashing horse. It was just disappointing that he was placed so many times in maiden hurdles but it was behind good horses. In fairness to him he took his chance today though. He's a good solid type and he'll make a serious chaser as he's a wonderful leaper. He'll go at that job now.
